We want you to know about a very special gift God has for you. By definition a gift is something that is given, not earned. However, a gift must be accepted for it to mean anything to you. After all, what good is a present if you never open it? Please take a moment to read what the Bible says about receiving God's gift of eternal life.

God's gift of salvation is the proof of His love for us. "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Before we can realize God's gift of salvation, we must see our need for it. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners, and that the penalty for our sin is death (Romans 3:23, 6:23). This death includes eternal judgment and separation from God in a literal hell (Revelation 20:12-15).God loves us so much that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). We want you to know that God never intended for you (or anyone else) to go to hell. The Bible says, He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (II Peter 3:9).

It is only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that you can receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23). There is nothing that you can do to save yourself from your sin condition (Ephesians 2:8-9), but the work has already been done for you (I Peter 2:24). The Bible makes it very clear that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). True Christianity is not a works-based religion, it is a relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ.

God will save whosoever (that means anyone and everyone) believes on the sacrificial work of Christ alone and calls on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-13). This is the only way to become a part of God's family (John 1:12).

We urge you not to wait another minute, but to turn from your sins and accept the Lord Jesus Christ right now as your personal Savior. Simply trust in the work that He has already accomplished for you. The Bible says if you call on Jesus, you shall be saved (Romans 10:13). If you've made the decision to trust Christ you need never doubt where you will spend eternity, because the Bible assures your eternal salvation. The Bible tells us that we may know (not feel) that we have eternal life (I John 5:13).

If you've made the decision to trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior we would love to hear from you. If you live in our area, please come visit our church and be our guest this Sunday.
